COVA, an Italian Gem Since 1817
Magnifico is proud to introduce Cova, one of Italy’s oldest pasticcerie. From its elegant store in Via Montenapoleone - the luxury Milanese district – Cova brings to your table the best patisserie experience.
A BITE OF HISTORY
Pasticceria Cova is one of the oldest Italian pasticcerie. It was founded in 1817 by Antonio Cova, who served in Napoleone Bonaparte’s army. For almost two hundred years, Cova has been synonymous with style, elegance, finesse, and, of course, superb cakes and pastries.
A PLACE FOR THE JET SET CROWD
Since its opening in Milan, Cova has been the place to be for international high society, from the composer and music director Giuseppe Verdi, to the writer Ernst Hemingway, to the contemporary élite. Today, Cova is still the quintessential patisseries where craftsmanship meets creativity, magnifying its heritage and matching the needs of an increasingly conscious clientele. The result is a delightful triumph of taste and flavor. If you are in Milan, you can't help but stop by Cova to enjoy one of its legendary pastries.
FROM MILAN TO THE US
Today Cova, part of the LVMH Group since 2013, is present in Hong Kong SAR, Shanghai, Beijing, Taiwan, Monte Carlo, and Dubai, recreating the traditional Italian combination of creativity and elegance around the world. Finally, Magnifico is honored to introduce the magic of Coya to the US!
THE ICONIC ITALIAN CHRISTMAS PANETTONE HERE IN THE US
It is Christmastime, the most beautiful time of the year. Magnifico is delighted to introduce the panettone, the most iconic and beloved Italian Christmas dessert. Crafted by Cova’s in-house pastry chefs, these panettoni are simply delicious. Using the best recipe with passionate care, Cova Chefs invented the softest dough that gave life to two tasty and mouthwatering panettoni: the Classic type, sweetened by raisins and dried fruits, and the Chocolate type, enriched with dark chocolate chips. Over the years, Cova’s panettoni have become a must-have item for all Italian families at Christmas. Now, they are available for the American families, as well!
