SAN VALENTINO a Tavola with Beet PESTO PASTA (Pink Pasta!)

A super easy “pink-red” recipe to celebrate Valentine’s Day with your loved ones!



Are you looking for the perfect recipe for your Valentine’s dinner? We’ve got you covered with this easy beet pesto pasta.

Impress your guests with a colorful plate perfect for the Day of Love. The result will be a reddish aphrodisiac in a plate of pasta, perfect for your special night.



The color is pretty, the taste is amazing…and it is also super healthy! The procedure, also, is fast and simple: it will take about 10 minutes of your time! You can use your pesto for pasta, but also for a grilled bruschetta or over meats like grilled breast chicken.



For two people you will need:

1 clove of garlic

½  cup of toasted pine nuts

2 red beets, cooked, peeled and chopped (you can buy them already cooked)

½  cup extra virgin olive oil

½ cup Pecorino cheese (or Parmigiano, if you prefer a less intense flavor)

Salt and pepper


The instructions are ridiculously easy. All you have to do is to combine these ingredients in a food processor and blend until they are smooth. At the end, add salt and pepper to taste. And voilà, your pesto is ready to meet your pasta, mandatory warm and “al dente”! Garnish with toasted pine nuts. Here is Magnifico’s stunning selection of pasta Cuomo.
