Key Product Features

Redoro Veneto Valpolicella DOP Extra Virgin Olive Oil is a distinctive Italian olive oil produced in the hills of the province of Verona, within the protected Valpolicella growing area.

The DOP — Protected Designation of Origin — certification identifies an olive oil whose olives, production methods and geographical origin comply with strict requirements connected to a specific territory.

This premium extra virgin olive oil is made primarily from the native Grignano and Favarol olive varieties, which give the oil its characteristic elegance, balance and aromatic complexity.

The olives are harvested directly from the trees and delivered to the mill for processing on the same day. Mechanical extraction at controlled temperatures helps preserve the natural aromas and sensory qualities of the freshly harvested fruit.

Golden yellow with subtle green reflections, this oil offers aromas of fresh olives and vegetables, followed by delicate fruity, dried-fruit and spicy notes. Its balanced flavor develops into a refined finish reminiscent of almonds and artichoke.

Use it raw as a finishing oil when you want to add authentic Italian character and a refined territorial flavor to the dish.

Yellow in color with a slight shade of green for fresh oils, it has a balanced taste. On an aromatic level it has good intensity, devoid of defects, characterized by olive aromas accompanied by fresh vegetables followed by fruity hints, dried fruit, and spicy notes. It leaves an aftertaste of almonds and artichoke much appreciated by connoisseurs.

The Extra Virgin Olive Oil D.O.P. Veneto Valpolicella is obtained for at least 50% from Grignano and Favarol quality olives produced only in the area of the Province of Verona included among the municipalities ranging from Brentino, S. Ambrogio di Valpolicella, Grezzana, Mezzane di Sotto, Montecchia.

The olives are harvested directly from the plant by hand or with combs. The olives are brought to the mill and processed on the day only with mechanical and physical processes (including maintaining the temperature below 30 ° during the whole process) to guarantee the obtaining of an oil without any alteration of the qualitative characteristics contained in the fruit.

Ideal with barley soup, grilled red meat and baked fish.
