Inclusive Thanksgiving 2022

Even if it is an American holiday, mixing all the culinary traditions can be fun. Before turkey, you can have pasta and maybe some bruschetta. Read this article to have some tips.

Inflation is hitting hard also at Thanksgiving

Thanksgiving comes at a particular time this year. Although people were already talking about the turkey in October, this important American holiday may be less lavish than in the past.

From CNBC: "With grocery prices up sharply from a year ago, Thanksgiving is hitting households a lot harder this year. Per-pound prices for turkey, the holiday's biggest staple, are up 17% year over year, according to the latest inflation data."

Because of such high prices, according to many experts, the 2022 trend for Thanksgiving is that Americans think it is cheaper to go out to dinner. But everyone knows that Thanksgiving is one of the few occasions when people can gather around the kitchen at home for relatives who live near and far. For many, however, no longer makes sense to spend a lot of money at the supermarket and struggle at the stove, when going to a restaurant would cost about the same amount of money, but without the stress that preparation entails. For those who still want to honor this holiday at home, we at Magnifico recommend visiting our website for two reasons. The first is to get some ideas on succulent recipes that can go along with turkey and then purchase the ingredients on our platform. With just a few ingredients, you can make great pasta and risotto.

Inclusivity is our "word" for this Thanksgiving 2022

We live in an age of inclusivity, so it might be fun to put different culinary traditions side by side. For example, Italian antipasti and pasta, American main course, obviously turkey, and maybe Indian or Japanese desserts. Wines are by choice, from French champagne to Oregon reds.

So many different bruschetta to start with

For example, for the "antipasti," bruschetta filled with different ingredients can be prepared quickly and inexpensively, and of course, the traditional bruschetta with tomatoes and truffle cream. On the Magnifico platform, you have many choices. Truffles, known as "black gold," lend a luxurious and rich flavor to any dish. Our collection of truffle delights is made in Tuscany by Savini Tartufi. One can be with "Parmigiano and truffle cream," and another bruschetta can be with "Porcini mushrooms and truffle puree" or "Butter and truffle." You will amaze your guests with so many choices.

… And before turkey, let's have some pasta!

If you do not have much time, you can get pasta sauce already made. Our products are really high quality, you can't tell the difference. If you like spicy, we have ready for you "sugo all'Arrabbiata," produced by Delizie di Calabria. This arrabbiata sauce is made with fresh tomatoes and 100 percent Calabrian pepperoncini for a bold twist with medium heat. Rich and distinct with a smoky flavor, these spicy red chilies grow in the Calabrian region of southern Italy and are world-famous.

Or, to name another one, Organic Tomato Sauce with Vegetables, produced by Bio Orto. 100% organic tomato sauce with vegetables. 100% Organic Tomato Sauce with Vegetables. This sauce is prepared by slowly cooking chopped onion, carrots, celery, and garlic in extra virgin olive oil and then adding the pulp and tomato puree with the 3 organic seasonal vegetables (zucchini, eggplants, peppers). These are some suggestions; of course, it is up to you for the turkey. In fact, if you would like to share your recipes with us, we will be more than happy to read them and repost them.
