Two brothers, one passion 

Born and bred in Tuscany, Riccardo and Massimiliano Lunardi are two brothers working together in their family company. In 1966 their parents founded a bakery and a small food shop. "We moved our first steps in the bakery and food shop, where we had our first insight on this world. However, we continue to learn something new, every day", they recount. 

A family tradition with an eye towards innovation

Riccardo and Massimiliano Lunardi describe themselves as "two brothers born and raised surrounded by the beauty of Tuscany, passionate about the wonderful products from the most beautiful regions of Italy." Today they bake delicious biscuits, traditional Cantucci, leavened cakes, and baked goods. Genuinely passionate about taste and hand-made delicacies, Riccardo and Massimiliano continue to carry on the family tradition with an eye towards innovation. 

From Tuscany to the world

Lunardi's headquarter is in Quarrata, a small town in the Province of Pistoia (Tuscany), less than 20 miles from Florence. Today Lunardi dives into the national and international scene with high-quality, artisan food. Their products are sold worldwide; they can be found, among the others, at Harrod's in London, Rinascente in Milan, Käfer in Munich, and at the Ferragamo-owned restaurants in Florence.

Chocolate is the king 

Lunardi's signature delicacy is the chocolate biscuit. This cookie is famous for its big and delicious chunks of chocolate. It is a special recipe where chocolate encounters the dough of the crumbly Tuscan Cantucci. Its chocolate chunks make the experience even more delightful. 

Almond the queen 

Another product of excellence is the traditional almond Cantucci. Cantucci is one of the most traditional recipes of Tuscan cuisine. Lunardi adds a little bit of organic butter to obtain a softer and tasty result.

The Lunardi brothers devote meticulous care to the selection of ingredients as well as that of their suppliers. "We were born and raised in Tuscany: a land full of tastiness and wonderful landscapes – they say - Maybe this is the reason why we are so prone to taste and beauty!".
