BRUSCHETTA!
This simple Italian favorite is sure to impress. There are literally hundreds of variations of this popular “antipasto”. Simple, yet delicious. You will need grilled or baked slices of bread, rubbed with garlic and topped with olive oil, salt and your favorite ingredients. A classic garnish is ripe tomatoes and fresh basil. For mouthwatering alternative, try Agromonte bruschetta’s toppings. You can choose among many options like cherry tomatoes, artichokes, peppers, and of course black and green olives.
CAPRESE
For your Independence Day picnic, you could try a classic Italian Caprese salad. The is a tribute to the magnificent island of Capri. Fresh and flavorsome, Caprese is perfect if you are dining al fresco! You need layer slices of tomatoes and mozzarella on a large platter. The dressing is also simple: extra-virgin olive oil, salt and pepper. Garnish with fresh basil and voilà!
