Since 1641, Carandini has produced the finest vinegar in Modena, a beautiful city located in the region of Emilia Romagna. For over four centuries they have produced vinegars as well as receiving many certifications for its extraordinary quality and taste. From Antonio Carandini to Giuseppe, and Bianca and Emilio, the age-old craft has been passed from parent to child.

EVERY DROP OF CARANDINI VINEGAR CONTAINS FOUR CENTURIES OF HISTORY

Thanks to an established artisanal tradition that’s been around since 1641 that was passed down from generation to generation, the vinegar is considered the finest in Modena. Carandini is one of the oldest noble families in the region, the life of every member is linked to their company.

Nowadays, Silvia, Giovanni and Luca Carandini — the direct descendants of those noble practitioners of taste — are passionate about producing outstanding balsamic vinegars that are appreciated all over the world.

WITH CARANDINI, TRADITION MEET TECHNOLOGY

Each phase of production is strictly monitored to guarantee a product of the very highest quality. Today, Carandini produces the vinegar by starting with the finest ingredients and processing them according to the deep-rooted teachings of their ancestors. In this company, Tradition is complemented by modern techniques, industrial efficiency and managerial ability and this is why today the Balsamic Vinegar of Modena enhances recipes all around the world.

QUALITY MUST BE CERTIFIED

The main policy of the company is very strict: Every detail of the production process must satisfy the highest quality standards. This allows the family to be sure to offer the very best in terms of food safety and quality to the customers.

A DIFFERENT VINEGAR FOR EVERY OCCASION

Carandini has two variants of vinegars:  The Traditional Balsamic Vinegar of Modena, aged at least 12 years in ancient wood barrels and the Extravecchio fruit that ages over 25 years of aging. It is a surprising mixture of unique and complex perfumes. To taste alone or to enrich every finest dish.

...AND FOR SPECIAL OCCASIONS

For special moments, Carandini never will leave you alone. Not only food but we have recently entered in the jeweler field. And that’s why these variants take the name of the family ancestors. The first category is the one called the "dense" vinegarsEmilio Silver, Emilio Gold and Bianca — creamy in texture due to the high density of grape must, matured in wooden barrels.

The second one is the "aged" vinegarsGiuseppe Silver and Giuseppe Gold — left to mature in wooden barrels for many years.
