Christmas is around the corner

The holiday season is approaching, actually just over a month away. Are you looking for ideas about what to cook for dinner, what desserts to buy, and what gifts to give to family and friends? At Magnifico Food, we can help in many ways to relieve stress. Indeed, you can already find many ideas on our website. Quality food is always highly appreciated, and you rarely go wrong when you give as a gift a good bottle of extra virgin olive oilpandoro or panettone, or fine chocolate bars, such as those from Venchi, which you know by now.

Panettone e Pandoro, a must have

This article will focus on the must-have Christmas dessert: panettone and pandoro. We really have many of them, very different from each other. Just as a reminder: Panettone is a type of sweet Italian bread originally from Milan, usually made and enjoyed for Christmas and New Year's Day. Pandoro is a traditional Italian sweet bread famous for Christmas and New Year. Typically, from Verona, pandoro traditionally has the shape of a whip with an eight-pointed star section. It is often served dusted with vanilla-scented powdered sugar to remind you of the snowy peaks of the Italian Alps during the Christmas season.

Dolce and Gabbana's Panettone

Let's see what Magnifico has to offer. If you are a fan of Italian fashion and love wearing Italian haute couture, then you will love Dolce and Gabbana's Panettone. There are many variations: chocolate, almond, or fruit. The description reads, "from the encounter between the confectionery art of Fiasconaro and the creativity of Dolce & Gabbana, a unique recipe could only arise: the typically Milanese panettone revisited with the flavors of Sicily. The high-quality craftsmanship of this panettone will be preserved thanks to the splendid tin box signed Dolce & Gabbana, specially designed by the most famous Sicilian artistic workers: the bright colors and the subjects represented, which are inspired by the decorative motifs of the cart and the characters of the Opera dei Pupi, transform these tin containers into precious objects to collect."

Different brands, same quality

But we also have artisan and luxury panettone from Pasticceria Cova, Fraccaro, and Fiasconaro. And we have something for vegans too. The Fraccaro Vegan Pandolce, made without milk or eggs, with the intense aroma of chocolate chips and sweetened with brown sugar, tastes simply delicious. We have in stock also Fraccaro's gluten-free panettone, made mainly with rice flour, potato starch and cornstarch, butter, eggs, raisins, and candied fruit, all organic products.

Il torrone

Along with panettone and pandoro, or as a substitute for them, nougat cannot be missed on Italian tables at Christmas. Torrone is a traditional Italian dessert usually served at Christmas time and composed mainly of honey, beaten egg whites, almonds, wafers, hazelnuts, and vanilla. The ones we chose are made by Fresconaro, which is a guarantee of quality. There are different flavors: pistachiochocolateor the traditional one. Panettone and nougat will make your table special, but they will also guarantee success if you choose them as gifts for friends and relatives.
